Bonus Conditions

 

All bonus offers on Casineo are subject to the bonus terms and conditions in accordance with our General Terms and Conditions (GTC). Participation is exclusively permitted to persons aged 18 and over. If a conflict exists due to the social responsibility concept, participation in bonus promotions is not possible. Employees of the Stadtcasino Baden Group are excluded from participation.

 

Each bonus granted as part of a promotion can only be redeemed once per player account. In principle, bonuses can be used in most games. However, certain games are excluded or only contribute partially to the wagering requirements. Details on which games these are are explained below under “What is the playthrough and how is it calculated?”. Please note that a maximum of CHF 10 in bonus money can be wagered in each game round.

 

The standard validity period for using a bonus is one month. If a promotion deviates from this duration, this will be communicated directly within the respective promotion. Casineo reserves the right to withhold or delete bonus funds if they are not used within the specified period from the time they are credited.

 

Bonus funds can only be withdrawn once the respective wagering requirements (playthrough) have been fully met. Your real money balance can be withdrawn at any time. However, if there are active bonuses with open wagering requirements, these must be canceled before a withdrawal can be made. Please note that a canceled bonus cannot be reinstated and that both the wagering progress achieved and the entitlement to the bonus will be forfeited.

 

Casineo reserves the right to exclude player accounts from bonus offers or to close accounts if promotions are abused or if there is reasonable suspicion of abuse.

 

If you receive a bonus code electronically, it will be automatically redeemed by clicking the corresponding link. For offline promotions, you can manually enter the voucher code you received in your player account under the “Bonus” section.

 

 

Which Conditions Apply to the Different Bonus Types?

There are different types of bonuses, each operating under its own rules. Below is an overview of the most important bonus types and how they work.

 

 

Identification Bonus

An identification bonus is a so-called no-deposit bonus, usually granted as part of promotions. It rewards new players for successfully verifying their player account. The bonus amount is credited only after both identity and address have been successfully verified.

The identification bonus can be redeemed up to 30 days after registration and is available once per person.

 

 

Deposit Bonus

First Deposit Bonus:
With your first deposit, you receive a 100% match bonus up to a defined maximum amount. From a deposit of CHF 80, additional free spins worth up to CHF 25 may be granted.

 

Reactivation Bonus players who have not wagered real money for at least two months:
Players who have not been active on Casineo for at least two months may receive a special deposit bonus. This is offered monthly as part of targeted campaigns.

 

Payment Method-Specific Bonuses:
Depending on the campaign, bonuses may be tied to specific payment methods (e.g. Twint, Paysafe, credit card, Apple Pay, PostFinance).

In connection with special promotions, additional conditions may apply, such as using a specific payment method or depositing within a defined period. The bonus amount is credited to the player account only after the deposit has been successfully completed.

As a rule, the amount of the bonus depends on the deposited amount. For example, for a first deposit, bonus funds equal to the deposit amount may be credited up to a defined maximum amount. For special promotions, a fixed bonus amount may also be provided.

Game Bonus

A game bonus rewards real-money wagers placed within a defined campaign in a specific game. Wagers are accumulated over the entire duration of the campaign and do not need to be achieved in a single bet or on a single day.

For campaigns with multiple levels, bonuses are credited upon reaching each respective level. If a higher level is reached, you will receive the difference between the new level and the previously reached one.

The bonus may be granted either as a cash bonus or in the form of free spins. The applicable variant is defined within the campaign. The game in which wagers must be placed is also campaign-specific. Wagers placed in other games do not count toward the goal. Only real-money wagers count toward achieving the goal. Bets made with bonus funds or free spins do not count.

Participation in a campaign requires that the corresponding mission is visible in your sidebar widget. If the campaign is not displayed there, participation is not possible.

 

 

Free Spins

Free spins are free rounds on slot games that can be played without wagering real money, allowing you to try games risk-free. Winnings from free spins are subject to a wagering requirement of 30x the winnings before they can be withdrawn. Only after the wagering requirements have been met will the funds be converted into withdrawable real money.

Depending on the promotion, free spins may only be used on specific slots or on several selected games. The games included in the promotion are announced as part of the respective campaign. All other games are played with real money as usual.

If you allow emails in your account settings, you will receive various promotions on a regular basis. To receive these offers, you must have a fully verified player account (Fully Identified Account).

 

 

What Is the Playthrough and How Is It Calculated?

The playthrough describes the wagering requirement that must be met before bonus funds can be withdrawn. For slot games, this is generally* 30 times the original bonus amount. For certain games, the playthrough may be up to 300 times. Specifically, this means that with a bonus amount of CHF 10, you generally need to place bets totaling 30 × CHF 10, i.e. CHF 300. You can view your current playthrough progress at any time in your player account.

*In special promotions, the playthrough may differ from the values stated here. In such cases, this will be explicitly stated for the respective bonus. However, the ratio between individual game categories always remains the same and can also be seen in the table below.

Unless otherwise specified within a promotion, you can use your bonus funds on most games at Casineo. Excluded are roulette games (due to increased abuse potential via so-called “sure bets”), progressive jackpot games, as well as slots with a spin memory function or a theoretical payout rate of 98% or higher.

 

When playing, the real money balance is always used first. If a wager consists of a combination of real money and bonus funds, any winnings will be distributed in the same percentage ratio. The real money portion of the winnings will be credited to the real money balance, but only up to the reference value. The bonus portion of the winnings will be credited to the bonus balance.

 

Once the playthrough has been fully completed, the bonus funds are automatically converted into real money and can be withdrawn.

 

Your progress in completing the bonus wagering requirements is calculated from the moment the bonus is credited and is retained across multiple gaming sessions. You can change games or start a new gaming session at any time. Your progress will not be lost. All bets made with bonus funds count towards the wagering requirements, regardless of the game and whether in one or more sessions.


You have 30 days to meet the wagering requirements, unless a different period is specified in the specific bonus terms and conditions. In this case, the period specified there applies. If the bonus credit has been completely used up before the required playthrough has been reached, the bonus obligation automatically expires.

 

Example for Illustration

Imagine you have CHF 500 in real money in your Casineo account and receive an additional bonus of CHF 20. The required playthrough is therefore CHF 600 (30 × CHF 20).

 

Initial situation:

  • Bonus funds: CHF 20
  • Required playthrough: CHF 600

 

You start with a regular slot and place a bet of CHF 200. Since real money is used first, CHF 200 is deducted from your real money balance. For slots, bets count 100% toward the playthrough.

 

01 After betting CHF 200 on a slot:

  • Real money: CHF 300
  • Bonus funds: CHF 20
  • Playthrough progress: CHF 200 of CHF 600 (CHF 400 remaining)
  • Reference value: CHF 500

 

You place another CHF 300 in a slot machine:

  • Real money: CHF 0
  • Bonus funds: CHF 20

Completion of the playthrough

The entire bonus balance is automatically converted into real money.

 

06 Final balances:

  • Real money: CHF 180 (freely withdrawable)
  • Bonus balance: CHF 0

 

The reference value is automatically waived upon conversion.

 

Once the playthrough has been completed, your remaining bonus credit will automatically be converted into withdrawable real money. If you win while playing with bonus credit, these winnings will also become withdrawable.

 

Important Notes

While a bonus is active, you cannot make withdrawals. However, you can cancel your bonus at any time in your player account. Please note that a canceled bonus is permanently forfeited and cannot be restored. You will lose both your accumulated playthrough progress and your entitlement to the bonus.
